Privacy Policy

Aire is built around city-level presence. We collect the information needed to run the app, protect users, and deliver notifications, while avoiding precise location storage.

Information we collect

Account and profile information such as your Aire account, handle, display name, avatar reference, Sign in with Apple identity, sessions, and notification preferences.

City-level activity including your home city, current-city presence events, visited cities, trips, groups, invites, comments, reports, blocks, and friend connections.

Device and delivery data needed for push notifications, including APNs device tokens and delivery preferences.

Location privacy

Aire is designed for city-level presence, not precise tracking. The app may send reduced-accuracy latitude and longitude to the backend so the server can resolve a city. The backend stores the resolved city and discards the raw coordinates.

Ghost Mode stops sharing your presence with other users. Blocks remove both visibility and discoverability between the two accounts.

How we use information

We use information to provide the app: accounts, friends, groups, city-level presence, trips, invite links, notifications, safety reports, and account deletion.

We do not sell personal data and do not use third-party advertising or tracking in the current product.

Deletion and support

You can delete your account in the app from Settings. Deletion removes your account and account-owned data from the active production database.
